Since the day Nutter opened its doors for business, Jerry has been hard at work, building Nutter into the company they are today. With his dad Ted, they started the company 29 years ago and laid the groundwork for Nutter to grow and evolve. Now Jerry ensures that the Nutter reputation for getting work done right remains the focus.

What started as a father and son team back in 1992, has transformed over the last 29 years to become the local industry leader in excavation, utility, and underground site work.

Nutter has grown to become a leading northwest heavy civil contractor, building transportation infrastructure including highways, roads, railroads, wetland mitigation sites, port docks and more. We provide a variety of services from pre-construction estimating, design-build, site development as well as the specialty projects Nutter is licensed in Washington and Oregon.
